The Permanent Men’s Hair Replacement Systems

There are many different types of permanent men’s hair replacement systems including the most widely known hair transplants commonly referred to as plugs. There are also other procedures such as scalp reduction and flaps. These procedures are not as common but they are permanent and do show results almost immediately.

The hair transplant takes a section of hair and moves it physically through surgical techniques to the site of the balding. This is done in very small amounts so that there is no noticeable lessening of hair in the area from which it is taken. This procedure only needs a local anesthetic in order to do a section of the balding scalp.

One problem is that only a small area can be worked on at a time so many procedures must be done in order to get a full head of hair. The man who is getting this procedure must be patient because it will be quiet a while before he sees a full head of hair. Many men don’t want to wait that long in order to see the final results.

The flap and scalp reduction procedures require the patient to be put under with anesthesia. The flap technique is for those who suffer from baldness because they experienced some type of trauma. The scalp reduction technique simply pulls the balding parts of the scalp together in order to complete the entire procedure. The effects of these procedures are immediately noticeable.

Not many men want to go through all of the pain that these procedures can inflict. Many would rather find less painful and quicker ways to have a full head of hair. A hairpiece can offer the same full hair coverage without the drawbacks of painful surgeries and associated long recovery times.
